Jennifer Berzok is a dynamic and passionate leader with thirty years of experience in advancing federal health care and disability policy on and off Capitol Hill. She has strong skills in management, relationship-building, and collaboration, gained through her work with Cullari Communications Global, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, the Biotechnology Industry Organization, working in Congress and lobbying at the state and federal level.
Jennifer founded JKB Strategies to help clients advocate for stakeholders in the health care and disability space by advancing collaborative solutions. JKB builds and manages coalitions, engages policymakers at the legislative and executive levels, and trains grassroots advocates to be more influential and effective.
Jennifer graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BA in English. She holds a JD from Washington College of Law, American University, and is a graduate of the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodiverse Disabilities) Program from Georgetown University. Jennifer is a current Commissioner on Montgomery County, Maryland’s Commission on People with Disabilities, and a past Chair of the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) Parent Advisory Board. Jennifer Chairs the Ivymount Corporation Foundation Board of Directors, and was a member of the Main Street Connect Task Force which worked toward the creation of the first inclusive living and gathering space for adults with needs in the Washington, DC region. She lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband Matt, and together they have two grown children.
